The SPEX Services training and testing facility is based at Tillyfourie, located 18 miles from Aberdeen. Occupying a total area of 38 acres, the site is one of the largest explosive test facilities in the United Kingdom. It has two deepwater (60ft and 25ft) test pools containing over 100 million litres of freshwater.
